Awake My Soul

I love books. Who doesn't?(crazy people?)
shopping for books and getting excited about a good find is half the fun. The book smell in used bookstores, the smell of coffee in Barnes&Noble and Borders, ladders on the tall wall of books like in Beauty and the Beast, its magical. Though typically since I cannot afford the new $15 price sticker on books I make a note of ones I like and add them to my Amazon wishlist, which is now up to almost 300 ( only 100 are novels, the other 2 include craft/sewing books, travel books, interior design/architectural resouces, "coffee-table," and graphic novels.)
Even better than shopping for books is reading one so good that you are lost in it and completely unaware of your surroundings.
Currently I am reading The Ballad of West Tenth Street by Marjorie Kernan, I will let you know how it goes.

This is not a book to be tossed aside lightly,
it should be thrown with great force.

Have an enchanting day!
